Hm I see, I don't think like you.. and having 1 or 2 intuitive reactions I think would enhance the game by a lot, and it's nowhere near a soulslike

Say you have a fast, reckless zombies jumping around, you can make it jump through short gaps to try and catch up to the player, there are still ways to cheese it, it's not difficult to overcome and they add a bit of unpredictability

combat became very stale and predictable to me, I'd like to see it improve but we'll see

it doesn't have to either be brain dead vs souls like, there's a lot of middles in there

It's not a bug but more of a game mechanic that's not been implemented (yet). Being able to craft from chests is programmatically different from being able to build from chest

Well...
I had a dream I slept atop the water on a special lake mattress and it was the best nap I ever had.
Then I dreamt I was so envious of the me who slept like that I tried to do it a second time but (foolishly brought a real pillow which became soaked, along with my real blanket).
Then I dreamt I pouted and went to the mall to try and get over my sadness from no second lake nap, all while dragging my blanket with me like Linus from the Peanuts comics, and people kept stepping on it. So I laid down for a nap and then Brian from Regular Car Reviews woke me up by doing pretend wrestling attacks on me cause in this dream apparently he knew who I was. Then we bonded over stuff he did on his channel.
Then I went home and watched a really kickass mecha-vs-evil anime that doesn't exist IRL, and I finally woke up from the dream because I was so frustrated I couldn't find the rest of the DVDs of that anime series.

That's what it tasted like.

There was a game ages ago called Secret World. There was no fall damage. The reason was because during a public alpha event, there was a falling damage bug and the head dude...CEO? (sorry don't remember title) Fell off a box and died in front of everyone and he got upset and told them to turn it off. Not sure it ever came back

I'm a little over 200 hours in solo and it's been incredible. I'm lvl 42, still have a bunch of quests to complete, and only just started to dive into the depths of building. The game is absolutely massive, and amazing!

yes that was the entire point of my comment mate, I wanted to manually craft a lock pick but nothing in the entire shroud well, even items covered, in metal would drop metal

I ended up having to leave without opening it, which after spending 10-15 minutes running around the entire shroud well breaking metal things and getting 0 metal was super frustrating

also can we get a yield increase on pennybuns, farming them sucks with it being a 1 per pick instead of the 2+ you get from other crops

Neither do I, but you, in fact, can. Many locked doors can just be busted. If you hit it and it's taking damage, even if it's 1 damage at a time, keep hitting it enough ans it will break.

Keep in mind the monsters kind of get both more, and less, than we do per level. Or seem to.

Their damage output is much higher to you if under their level, but doesn't get to be "low" until like +10 or more levels.

And some have more HP than us as well. Depending on perks, possibly? Dunno.

Nope, VRAM lives on your graphics card and is usually much faster than your regular RAM sticks that go into your motherboard.

In your example, the first 2 numbers are the generation 20xx 30xx 40xx etc. The last two numbers are the tier/power/spec.

In Nvidia's case it goes xx50 xx60 xx70 xx80 xx90 and whilst yes, the 30 series is a newer generation, a 2070 super will still out perform a 3050 in nearly everything.

Personally advertising a xx50 as a 'gaming' card is misleading as they are typically very underpowered for modern gaming.

Yea, the game is very demanding in ways that most games aren't. There's plenty to do on the optimisation front but given what it is and how it already performs on most hardware it's doing real well. I'm honestly surprised they've kept with the 1060 6GB as min spec 😄

Their last video said they're releasing two more patches (one before and the other 1.0) and some free updates after 1.0. They did say there will be 'to purchase' expansions but that's a great thing, not an end. They aren't going to be able to keep developing for free

There's no greed in paying for expansions after a very full game is released.

It's not like a few games out there, that released half a game and made people pay more for the end

If it's about the future purchases, do remember, the initial plan was for 1 year in EA, we've now gone through our second and will be at least three quarters through a 3rd year because they have done well and with the money they've already made, have added much more to the game than they anticipated, without charging a single penny extra to those that have it.

They've said there will be more free content after 1.0 as they continue working on the game AND some paid content, what form that content takes no one, probably not even them, knows at this point. This is not the beginning of the end, this is the end of the beginning and the provisions for the future.
