Something that I've recently seen is AVOID Hyundai vehicles. The newer vehicles from them are now requiring significant numbers of problems when it comes to repairs and maintenance, the company is requiring shops to buy extortionate software to do stuff as simple as brakes. This is going to ENORMOUSLY reduce the places that will be able to fix the vehicles and also make the resale value drop off a cliff because not many will want to buy them.

what's weird about cars is that so many people buy cars for things that they never intend to use them for.

Like a RWD sports car is built for speed and handling on a racetrack, but if you're using it to commute to work the tendancy to oversteer just makes it objectively more unwieldy and dangerous with no upside.

If you buy an SUV or truck they're built for offroading or towing, but if you're using it to cummute they just are less safe, have less visibility, and their loose suspensions make them more unwieldy on tarmac.

And yet... all three of those types of cars are more popular choices than commuter vehicles, like fwd sedans. I don't get it lol

Plug in Hybird / EV as suuuuper good if you just need a commuting vehicle and aren't planning to take it on long trips. Chevy Bolt and Nissan Leaf are both rated pretty highly. Especially if you can charge it at home and get a level 2 charger installed, it's super efficient. My personal goal is to also get solar installed so I can have my cars charged 100% for free 😝

I have had a truck for hauling and doing big jobs and it’s amazing FOR THAT. When you start modifying your truck with all these LED lights in the bicycle spike rims, putting an unnecessary lean or lift on your compromised suspension, putting low pro tires with no knobs for off road terrain… you’re defeating the purpose of it and now you’re just driving a hazard that guzzles gas

I think people buy new for the reassurance sellers often give, cause they often say that you have a warranty, they'll repair defects, etc. But I think people don't realize how meticulously those contracts are designed to ensure that they pay you as little as possible, while making it seem like a good deal. They'll literally do individual warranties for every single individual part, and carefully pick the mileage for each of them to statistically ensure that by the time it breaks, you're out of warranty. It's such a scam

People buy new because you "don't have to think about it as much" or don't have to worry about repairs, but in reality that's just a lie. I knew someone who worked for Kia customer service, and every single day she got back from work she told me about absolute nightmare scenarios that the company was putting their customers through, people who bought like 80k+ new cars. I was shocked by how little the company cared about customer satisfaction or retention. As soon as someone bought a car, they went full scam mode.

And the type of chasing I did, wasn't really for the likes or subscribes.. it was for public service. Doppler can only see a storm down to about 1500 MSL, and that's because of ground clutter. Tornados form below that, and so they need eyes on the ground to know what's going on. Why a lot of tornado warnings say "doppler radar as indicated a possible tornado" it's becasue they see the rotation.. but rest assured, there's someone in a truck kind of like that, with a HAM radio license that's providing some kind of visual confirmation.

The thing about new cars being allegedly cheaper to repair is a disgusting lie. These cars are more expensive to repair in reality - that fact is only poorly masked by skewed statistics regarding average failure rates - simply because cars are still relatively fresh and new. Parts for new cars more often than not, are designed specifically in a way to be non-repairable, and in a way to be expensive to replace.

Brand new cars - it's a money burning pit. Shit quality of manufacturing, running gear at the peak of meticulously engineered planned obsolescence quotas, and warranties being full of little ads. After "good" time for the new car runs out, its market value vs reliability is so deep in the gutter, that buying anything that doesn't have pristine records is pretty much financial suicide.

Those for "public service" or those for some kind of personal gain (used in a broad way).

Public Service are folks that are helping out the weather service, boots on the ground type things.

Personal Gain are those that are the researchers (for their own projects), adrenaline junkies, or adventure seekers.

I'm not the guy in the tank, driving into the center with Dorthy in tow.

But I do get about 1/4 mile away from them (or closer if I make a bad turn... ug).

Hey Perry, you can get bones from bad guys in the shroud or skeletons lying around buildings. You can pick resin up lying around in some buildings but it also drops from trees. I don't know if it's only with the upgraded axe or not though

Bones also come from wolves and other animals. The trees with the yellow leaves drop the most resin but you can get it from any tree

One way to get bones is to slay wild animals - wolves, goats and few other probably, Fell guys sometimes have bones too. If you happen to stumble upon a crypt or tomb - you can mine out some bones from the walls. Also as Beth mentioned - destroying skeletons scaterred around places will drop some bones.

Resin you'll get by chopping younger trees, these tend to drop resin more likely than older ones - the ones with golden leaves however will yield more resin.
Resin also can be found in containers in buildings - just destroy all the crates, barrels and such to get the contents.

Nvidia have decent drivers though. Just don't install them with all the bloatware. Use NVCleanstall or alike.

There are no public servers setup by the Devs for the game and the game can only run 16 players on a server as its designed as co-op not as huge worlds like say ESO etc or even smaller style like Rust/Ark etc

Is there a bug with water at the moment, or am I missing something obvious? ...

Today I watered my farming plot using only a watering can, and suddenly there a few inches of flooding all around that area of base. I left it a few hours and it's still there, with water flowing down the steps constantly and into my building where all my crafting stations are.

Surely this should not have happened from a watering can?

So water is tricky. I managed to make a small river but you need to determine how deep you want it. Use the wall drains at the height desired and boom youre good

There are 10 Save Slots available for your game worlds.

Backups:

  • Each slot has 10 rotating copies numbered 0-9.

  • There is no distinct "primary" save—whichever file the -index file points to is loaded.

Managing Saves

Transferring Saves:

  • This must be done whilst the game is closed.
  • To share a save, copy the latest world save I.E (3ad85aea-7).
  • Dedicated servers only use Slot 1. Rename a save file to match Slot 1 if needed.
  • Files can be renamed to move them between slots.

Rolling Back to an Older Save:

  • Open the -index file in a text editor.
  • Find the line "latest": X (where X is a number from 0-9).
  • Change it to the desired backup index and save the file.

Additional Notes

  • The -info file contains metadata (like world name) but is not needed for servers.
  • Each player generates their own -info files when creating a world.
  • The latest world save files are what should be transferred.
    Ensure you copy all required files when sharing a save. For servers, only Slot 1 is used.

It definitely feels like one handed and shields don't have any special love and skills that two handed get especially wards there should be a skill for wards to be able to parry projectiles like you can with the fell dragon meteors

2h has it's own attack speed skill and they can utilize bash and shockwave also plus they also have relentless and whirlwind it seems there's not really any reason to choose one handed and shield over 2h at least from my experience

I have a question. I have a quest that seems to have been bugged by going between servers. I joined a server that was less progressed than my own private save and now I have a the quest "Continue your journey" which needs me to talk to cade Hawthorn stuck in "Missed Embervale Quests". I have done this quest already and I can't seem to get rid of it now. Even when activating it and talking to Cade Hawthorn it does not go away. Does anyone know how to fix this and does this mess with quest progression?

yeah the stuttering is kind of why i jog between places, if you're jogging HDD is able to maintain decent load

Eu estou me divertindo muito com Enshrouded. Eu e amigos recomeçamos essa jornada de explorar o mundo de Enshrouded... e ficamos muito felizes em descobrir novas coisas e novos ambientes.
Como todo jogador, nós supomos muitas coisas sem ir atrás de algum guia-resposta na internet. Exploramos tudo sem guia nenhum.

Mas eu gostaria de compartilhar com vocês algumas ideias que tivemos, simples inclusive... Mas que talvez seja interessante.
• Ao tocar uma música perto perto de uma chama.... as fadas poderiam interagir de forma pacífica, ou animais selvagens poderiam se interessar um pouco com a música.
• O bioma Jungle... tem MUITA cara de Jurrassic Park... Eu e meu amigo estávamos ansiando ver um dinossauro ali. Hahaha. Quem sabe novas criaturas lá, de grandes proporções?

Eu estou me divertindo com este jogo que nunca mais tinha me divertido tanto! Eu agradeço muito aos Dev`s e Designers pelo excelente trabalho que estão fazendo!

OK at first i thought it was me but after what happened today i am certain that the game needs serious Balance. xD Me level 40 as a Wizard with level 50 weaps full food etc, and a friend with a level 9 "warrior" using a bow.... he took serious HP out of the Dragon and i was sweating to scratch the bar 😄

before I got wasting to much time I am trying to get a GEM OF BLOODLUST for the question and I have to kill elites above the shroud in Albeneve. Now I know there is an ogre at the mouth of the cave you go through to get to the dragon fight. it's an ice cave you have to work your way through to the flame at the dragon.

Anyways the ogre that is at the entrance to this cave I assume he qualifies as an elite above the shroud that has a chance to drop this gem of bloodlust???
