rice and algae only glows on soil that is partly underwater
and there are always situations where for example saphron grows best on sand, vegetables grow best on enriched farm soil etc...

I've played this game on and off since the demo. Since the update I have upgraded the armor, used/made the new foods, upgraded weapons as far as I can, but 1 hit from a drak or a shroud guy takes half my life maybe 5/8's. I have always played a ranger/archer type class since the demo. Did they make the range on the bow a lot further out to get the bonus damage? If they are remotely close I have to hit them a lot to kill them. Meanwhile I am kiting and flying and dodging like crazy. Even the new arrows don't seem to do much.

Anyone know how or where I can craft Gormander's statue? I saw online that someone got the recipe for gormander's statue and it unlocked with masonry tools but I don't see that recipe anywhere. I believe it still needs plenty of work. The balancing for combat needs work. This includes the AI blocking forever causing mass durability loss on weapons (only certain classes can deal with that effectively). The AI also is way too aggressive with the strong attacks which imo should have some sort of cooldown since they effectively almost one shot the squishier classes (and they spam those attacks).

The way that crafting works could use improving so that there's not a ton of crafting stations making like 1-2 things and instead should be more streamlined, making the crafting less tedious. (still have placeable stations but a centralized build location for each crafter would make more sense from a game design perspective.

Constantly unlocking things that need things you don't have is another point of contention I have. The quest system being more streamlined and less info overload would be a great improvement. (adding quests a step at a time instead of a ton of quests all at once is much better when you're still learning the game). They really could streamline several aspects of the game.

The game feels like it has a lot of features but at times feels like there's a lot happening in every direction but doesn't feel fully polished. It's getting to a better place especially after Update 7's improvements to loot (one of the biggest issues I had. Exploring felt mostly pointless except to do the quests. But looting was a waste of time almost always).

Oh and animal pathing needs work as well. They constantly get stuck on things. Them constantly walking up to you is also still a thing. Better with Update 7 but still an issue.

You should be able to walk through other players and animals (especially animals).

This is class dependant as mages and archers are not positioned to be able to do this. It allows them to turn in time as the enemies always try to face your direction. And when you're in a group of enemies this isn't suffient unfortunately and especially is dangerous

There’s a gem you can add to wands that drastically increases the stun effect, which is really useful for opponents with shields

Ever since they fixed a bug with wands (instant blocking after firing), mages have been difficult low level. I generally recommend carrying a sword early on, if you’re playing solo. You can specialise later into a mage

I think also that from a game design perspective, not giving you stuff in your crafting menu that needs material from a new area would be great. The survivors give you a quest to go to a new area and that's sufficient. When I would get a new work station it got extremely disappointing to not be able to even use it because it required materials from a whole other area to even use so it always felt like "oh great. I unlocked this but it doesn't even matter because I have to bring it back just to get another quest to even do anything with it." Getting new workstations should feel rewarding as soon as you get it.

I'd love to see this stuff get a bit cleaned up so that there's a fun reward loop happening

You need Fresh Shroud Spores. You get them from a glowing thing that looks like a round mushroom. They grow generally outside of a shroud and have a bubble of shroud around them. You then use water and that spore to craft it in your crafting menu (no workstation needed)

Those are usually for regen, you’re probably better off eating fruit since they last longer. You get more stam but less regen

I think a lot of people are just very impatient with taming animals which causes issues. If you throw your bait, wait for them to go and start eating it and then sneak behind them to start the tame then you should have zero issues.

After you pet them, just back off and toss another bait and repeat. Don't chase them, don't corner them, don't try to tame them on slopes.

Genuine question, did this game get harder. Either this or I somehow got really bad at video games after not playing it for over a year. When enshrouded first released I was obsessed until I beat all the content in the release version and the first content update. But then decided to wait for full release to play again. But the water update made me come back early. Anyways I’m playing on the same difficulty as before and pretty much killing the same enemies as before but this time I’m getting destroyed way faster. I remember barely dying except to hard enemies but now I’m even dying to bug occasionally. Like did this game get genuinely harder or am I just dumb lol

RNG is such that when you use a true generator to, say, generate a random password you may end up shocked by how many times the same letter or number can show up. Truly random systems can have the same outcome an outrageous number of times in a row.

there's only one chest, the one that drops the Golden War Hero Axe, which is static. Rest are RNG. If you REALLY wanna get something different, plot an alter down close to a chest you feel is going to have a leg item in it, exit game, make a backup of your game folder, play, see if the chest has an item you want and if not, exit and copy back the contents. Repeat

I have every single setting for us turned up and every setting for the dragon turned down that I can, and absolutley nothing works. The fire breathe and laser beam just chew right thorugh us. We're level 38 and geared appropriately, and have ZERO issues with any other fight we've been in. Half the problem is we can't see anything at all when the breathe is going, and no matter how fats wer blink or glide his breathe is faster and just melts us. this is not fun.

This is absolutely impossible with melee, I've even parried the meteors back and they've actually missed him as his animation moves him around. Then he wipes us and resets, there has to be some way to fix this, we are literally blocked form further game progression.

And we've already beat the water Drak boss

Dwagon is pretty easy basically, takes some getting used to all of his attacks, true.

I cannot move fast enough to dodge ANY of his attacks. he turns too fast. I cannot absorb or deflect any of his attacks. As a melee character he's near impossible. Deflecting the meteors isn't working either, he's literally dodging most of them. I've burned through hundreds of stun arrows getting him down and I still can't damage him fast enough. Half the problem is that with the new lighting updates you cannot see anything anymore. Can't see through his breathe or the shroud around you and the glow blinds you. I cannot describe how much this breaks the rest of the game progression. The next boss is no where near this difficult, and this is a full on blocker to game progression at too low a level.

Silly me, we decided to start over so we could enjoy the new lower level content and water etc, it truly feels like she's been tuned heavily up, and it seems the only way to beat her is with ranged attacks and stun arrows. There is no way for a melee character to solo this. Soon as you die, she resets back to full health.

distance , whack timers , and having the game running... somebody might need to look into chests to make sure stuff is working properly , furthermore if extra stuff has been added to make it more annoying to get them please remove said exra stuff :(. It's already annoying enough as it is

Hola. Was there every a comment on why we cant turn building blocks like walls and cubes like other deco items? Why do we have to rely on "tricks" to circumvent the 90° angle?

I think the short answer is due to the world grid, and the limitations of voxels.
