Less than autoloot and quick stash, but currency and merchants are something I still desparately want. Barring future crafting recipes, once you craft what you need with the giblets you get from enemies, they no longer have any value and don't feel satisfying or rewarding to collect; just dead spaces in inventory for the sake of hoarding. Even if it means very slightly less immersion, having loot mean something after you've crafted what you need with it because you can sell for a currency to buy building materials, crafting ingredients that you've already progressed past, and already crafted goods would make loot still feel valuable to collect.

for the FSR question, yeah we might at some point, but being built in a custom engine it's fairly taxing for us to implement new versions of DLSS/FSR

It's not like if our game was built in unreal or something where most of that work gets done by Epic Games, we'd have to do it ourselves

Chain lightning is too short range to be feasible for it's stun. Bone channel too slow unless I'm right on him. Seems my best shots are Icebolt and Fireball

Haven't tried the shroud spells, but the one time I tested it on the Wyvern, it was completely ineffective. I haven't tested it again, but I presume from that experience that they have no effect on fell enemies

The speed at which you gather is dependent on how much material you damage with your pickaxe. There's a perk that increases that my 30% and another granting a chance to get an extra material with each collect

You gain more stamina as you progress and there's gear that grants more. Also, the higher tier tools start doing more and for less stamina, appreciably.

You sure they are gone gone? I know there are ways to recover deleted files on Windows with some effort.

Usually files aren’t fully purged from a drive that easily. I know there are some tools for deep hard drive recovery - i think stuff only gets fully written over if you are low on space.

Avoid doing anything on the computer if you want any hope of recovery.

Sir J is right that you can recover data. Files aren't deleted when you delete them. They're essentially deindexed allowing Windows to reuse the space. There are undelete tools that bring them back as long as other data hasn't been written over them. There are also deep recovery tools. Those come with hefty costs and would only be practical for businesses or limited personal scenarios like crypto.

I have used Recuva in the past to recover files, but you always want to use a 'portable' version of a file recovery software that doesn't requite an install that you've downloaded on another PC and put on a USB stick. I don't think Recuva offers that anymore and I didn't see any that popped out.

Depending on the type of drive, you can pull it from the PC and use an enclosure or an adapter to connect it to another PC with the software installed and do it that way, as long as the drive isn't encrypted.

Probably. You would need something to connect it to the new laptop, like I said. What you'll need depends on the type of drive, but they're fairly cheap. Just be aware that there's still a chance the files aren't recoverable, you never really know until you try.

Hello. Is there anything to be aware of on how multiplayer progression works and if there will be changes in the upcoming patch? I have a group of about 7, some who have played and others who haven't, just trying to figure out the best way to play so people don't get left behind or forced to miss content if they have less time to play than others

most quests that couldnt be done by everyone because people wherent there can be restarted by them via quest menu under missed embervale quests.
Flame level goes for the entire world so whenever one of you upgrades it, it counts for everyone regardless if they where present or not.
if you want to make sure no ones missing out on anything either only progress whenever everyones present or have them restart old quests and then go with them as support.

There are at least two quests where you have to loot from a chest to finish it. If all 7 of you do it together, only one can finish it on the spot. When you get back to the base try putting the unique item in a chest and have each additional person loot it from there. This finished the quest without rerunning the dungeon for us, but it was awhile back.

Take a look at the multiplayer settings too so that things are completing the way you want them.

Not a mod, from what I understand, it is a server you can access to grab materials from that world. I havent tried to use any resource world before because my little brain cant understand how to make it work, but I think the gist of it is that, you join someone elses world to grab stuff from them to bring back to your world

that way people can always come fill their bags and if a chest is empty.just come back after an hour and its filled again.

New zone is level 35+ from what I read here, but it seems water will be activated/placed in some parts of the previous zones so not sure. Your flame-protected zones should remain unaffected.

I generally do not bother to build a base outside of the first location suggested since you can pretty much glide around the world and place alters where you need them.

Look in the join section in game under the dedicated server tab you should find one called shroud depot. It will ask for a password just leave it blank

You favorite it. In your Steam windows, do the following: View>Game Servers>Favorites>click the + sign. Small windows will pop up. In that window type enshrouded.taimaishoo.me:15639 click on OK. Server will now be favorited and will show up in blue text lettering at the top, when ever you click "Join"

is there a discord section for suggestions? They need add to every NPC and pets a dialog option where you tell the npc to go to bed and stay there for 15 minutes. This will get them out of the way so I can complete making edits to my base. I have too many npc's and pets around my base always getting in the way.
