I think the general lore is "Shroud mushrooms sucked up all the water and turned it into more shroud" that's why all the areas that seem like rivers/lakes are all shrouded. Not sure how they're going to evolve that lore to accomodate water being a thing.

It won't show me what I have in my inventory, and many of the things I have in my buildings aren't loading. I haven't been able to play for a month now. The equipment I'm wearing isn't showing. The biggest issue is the weight Lol. The weight of that monitor, plus my main monitor being clamped onto the desk with my dual monitor stand doesn't work out perfectly. It's a bit of a nuisance really but that will be fixed whenever we decide to get a desk made out of something solid. The weight bows the table a little bit where I have it clamped 😭😭

As a prior developer for SOE, if the update is going to land this month, it will most likely drop Oct 23-24 as the week of Halloween is usually reserved for holiday time, time with family, kids, etc. Even the Japanese slave driving bosses at SOE gave up trying to make us work hard that week. if the resources you need are in deadly shroud then you need to upgrade the other part of your flame altar...there's size-which uses the nexus and their's shroud strength which lets you get rid of deadly shroud. So, you may need to upgrade that one
