Okay, so Framegen is actually worse on low FPS, ironically. It may give you more frames but it throws in a ton of artifacts. Framegen is actually best used at or above 60 FPS.

I see. I went from 2070 to the 7900XT = 4070ti basically but worse upscaling which kinda sucks. This game has major ghosting issues on FSR 3 and i really hate it. Not sure if people with 9070XT can inject FSR 4 (they should via the AMD drivers) but that should eliminate it. Im probably going Nvidia 6080 or whatever its going to be next gen. FSR 4 is hardware limited due to the AI accelerators being used

That's the main reason I love how DLSS and FSR framegen work together on 3080...

3440x1440 / 13700k / 4090 - yeah max can crush it. What made it a big diff (at least before the patch) was dropping shadow quality a notch and point light shadows down to quality as well and that was a huge fps boost for me

Yes your save files are either in Steam cloud or in a separate location than your game files. You’re free to reinstall the game without effecting saves.

I noticed this happens when the rest bonus is inactive. When you die, your stamina only returns to normal if you go back to base and get the rest bonus. Even if you're revived by a teammate, your stamina only goes back to normal if you get the bonus at the base.
Is it supposed to be like that?

I was playing the game at 100fps, I updated, now I'm at 35 outside, and 17 inside. (Usually inside has higher FPS than outside as there is less to draw.) Something isn't normal about that.

I have a 12th gen intel i7, 32gb ddr5 ram with a 7900 XTX sitting at 80-90fps outside with everything maxed (and this is after I had to go back to default power settings, I undervolted it with an older driver and it stopped being stable with 24.12.... will have to test 25.5 driver and see if I can undervolt again). WIth undervolting I was getting 5-10% more FPS too.

The outside is basically flying from top of pillar of creation towards the north. In fact I had an issue with full screen mode before where my fps drops to like 10, that's fixed for me.

I don't know if this will help. But for some reason when I put point light shadow to performance our max performance. It seemed to fix my fps from 28 to 60. So maybe check if that will give back your performance

Yeah nvidia has been doing some weird stuff with their drivers. A lot of people had crashes on MHwilds with the most recent ones iirc

Stuff happens when there is a big update for the game. But unless you are "IT god" its hard to guess where the fault is. Nvidia has been having issues with drivers so much so that people actually started comparing them to AMD drivers during Vega days xD

problem is when you kill them they explode really fast and its hard to get away in time. and as melee main i don't have enough ranged dmg to kill them one by one fast + they are obscured by the other blue bugs
