it would mention things that don't exist in the world, characters and places that it's just hallucinating one thing at a time

proc gen can be a massive boon if your game is designed for it from the ground up, but proc gen and "integration with LLM or generative AI tools" are still two very different beasts

through iteration over a decade and a half, Minecraft's world gen has gotten immensely good, and has a wealth of PoIs to populate the landscape

but trying to plug ChatGPT or Copilot or anything into that will just not work

at this stage, you're much better off role-playing 1 on 1 with the language model in AI Dungeon or something (which is fun! and actually works!!)

I am unfortunately not very helpful here as i barely understand doing it myself lol. So one thing is to make sure you are in the right save directory. You may or may not have to have cloud sync off too??

i think the only thing the cloud data save does is changes the storage location from where the game reads / writes its resource files. the cloud directory is then synced with steam cloud

As @dull citrus stated, I'm just the current caretaker of PRW. It is the first Resource World Enshrouded had, created by Crazyloon and has buildings by 4 different players (Crazyloon, myself & 2 build contest winners). While it's always primarily been an offline only, save file provided for your own PC type of world, it's also currently Guest hosted by Yodadacoda. I tried to get it full time hosted using G-Portal and failed miserably lol.

At the beginning it can be a bit difficult if by yourself. Like the first hollow halls for me solo was next to impossible. I got it done but felt like a souls game. Ruthless. I’m also a ranger build and don’t care to try anything else.

So how many get detoured and back off due to difficulty too?

The game is also better with friends, and one of my friends didn’t even play the game, he just built. Myself and my other pal ran the quests and brought back the fun building supplies for the builder.

1. ranger in hollow halls is actually pretty easy if you look at it. then go prepare the bare minimum and then totaly shred in there with bone arrows.
2. thats what difficulty settings are for. to build the game into what you want from it.

but jeah i get it its hard these days to take sort of responsibility if you instead can simply complaining about shit thats actually sorted but people are simply to comfy and lazy to do the bare minimum.

When I first at started I don’t think there were difficulty settings. I also didn’t know much about the rates and bonuses of items.

Things for sure are different today. There’s also more availability of info. Streamers, YouTubers, here, etc.

Hi, im 70 hours in already when i first bought the game on steam Tuesday last week. If possible, adding a feature when i hover at any raw materials it could give an indication whether 'Item can be crafted at Kiln' or 'Can be found in world' would really improve quality of life. Sometime when theres so many things happening i lose track of a recipe that i can start crafting and sometimes when i found a new raw material for example fossilzed dust, i didnt know whether its something i can only find it in the world or it can be crafted. For i just alt tab an search it on youtube. This is a first at playing an mmorpg.. so a noob like has a higher learning curve compared to other veterans. Thank you for this game though, i haven't played anything but this in this whole week 😅

100% legit considerations, and also on point about the variables. The 0.9% achievement I'm reffering to is clearing all shroud roots in the Albaneve Summits...and it's not a question of "WHY" but more of "OF COURSE" that dragon fight is a doozie (but needed to strengthen the flame altar.) I had two others helping me, and we had a good'ol time figuring it out without any walkthroughs/tutorials...took us two honest go's. we were two lvl 35's and a lvl 16. I remember my 1st time going into the hollow halls solo...I was running a bow/1hnd melee with the ward shield. TBH, that run is what made me swap my build to mage to play the rest of my map solo. I didn't have exploding arrows yet or many skill points slotted to bring up damage, and I was suffering (like you said, I felt the ruthlessness of it).

...a games a game...and each to their own. Why we play or how we focus is just as varied...I came into playing Enshrouded after years of exclusive ESO play...I fell in love with the Enshrouded world and the shadow world we encounter in the lore...it was just timely for me

Enshrouded is a special game and I think it’ll do really well. It’s not an easy game and it does multiplayer really well!

Solo gamers will for sure struggle early game depending on the chosen class. A sign that classes need some balancing. No matter what though, I never dropped being a ranger. It’s too fun.

Skull summoning vessels...anyone used to farm them up by the Mark of Sameth mine? There's that path that leads up to it, and the ruins at the bend in the path before you head up to the right (N.E.) Both the hollow mages there used to both drop the summoning vessels...I STOCKED UUUP there! Now only one of them will drop them. Now I can craft them whenever, or just go "shopping" at a depot...but, that was a GREAT spot. That spot alone helped me in my solo hollow halls days.
