You’ll spend a lot of time in the Shroud because you need the materials. Wood and liquid and spores you need almost immediately… pay attention to the Flame and read everything your journal and quests tell you

follow the path down and go back up the way you came

good place to start would be from the first build area down to the broken bridge, go down into the shroud and work your way westwards, pretty nice starting farming area

did you build in the spot the game recommended?

If so, make sure you go into the village nearby and loot water from the well and any well you see when out and exploring. It'll be a while before you can build your own wells and farming tends to take up a lot of water.

Some day! But i think there is much to happen before we see an “end” of sorts.

There is plenty to do though without any sort of EG content. Definitely impressed with how packed the game already is. Remove base building and there is still easily probably a good 60+ hours of content.

random technical question, is anyone else getting poor performance? I completed the entire game months ago (possibly a year at this point) with absolutely no issues aside from the occassional visual bug. I'm replaying the game to check out the new content on the same rig with the same settings and I'm getting a long "loading shaders" popup on the main menu, crashes to desktop, objects not loading in and atrocious frame drops.

Hard to believe a far older version was better optimised, what the hell happened?

They added a lot of new visuals to the game. The loading shaders only happens the first time and does impact performance, but if you just load to the menu, let the shaders finish, then load a game it should be fine. If it still seems stuttery you can reduce some settings like lighting and shadows to help it

But yeah playing while compiling shaders will bog your system down pretty heavily

When searching the server list uncheck "Show Password Protected Servers". It will eliminate alot of useless sites and get a better focus on resource worlds

If you "favorite" a server, it will be at the top of your list every time you open the server list (unless its offline for some reason)

I have almost kept the original aspect ratio of the monitor for the videos, and you cannot see any weird distortions

i spent like 90 minutes in each Hollow Halls the first time because i was looking for secret doors and breaking all the pots and such. Later runs were like 20 minutes

My first go I died so many times my second go 8 came back with lvl 25 weapons and armor

i ran them all solo the first time so they were easy. i died a few times running with a group though because the enemy scaling is insane. make a single mistake in a 6 player group = 1 shot dead, and the enemies have so much health that fights take forever

Since the game was released, there are only four Hollow Halls. My suggestion is that if you want to expand weapons and equipment, you should update the Hollow Halls first, otherwise players will get tired of adventures very quickly. If possible, you can release random dungeons every month, of course, after your technology matures. Haha

How should I put it? Voting is too difficult to choose. For example, if I need a unique weapon, then I need a strong enemy, but there is no strong enemy for me to fight. For blocks, my suggestion is to place treasure chests on the map for players to explore and obtain. Currently, the rewards of treasure chests on the map are not rich. Then only A unique building prop is left as a task reward.

yeah i mean it is what it is, a weapon will be good, but.. somethings to consider.

• based on rarity of items in the game, 15 vanity sets, probably equal/less decoration items, a fair amount of things to build with already, and 203 weapons.
• they wrote unique weapon, not new weapon type, which was confirmed by toast - it's not a new type.
• a weapon even if it's good, will eventually get replaced with any of the top tier weapons in the game, or if it's as good as those weapons it will be in a group of 10 good weapons... why do we need another one?
