For me, the most frustrating thing is animal farming. The regular fences don't contain very well and they tend to swarm you when you enter the pen. Also, I placed a glizzy goat on the corner of my build area and it just stands there not moving other than to occasionally lay down.

Or water like item you can build around your base? I think it would be cool if you could have access to that. Like making water fountains, water falls or even the ability to make motes around your base like a overgrowth tool but water. Anyways. Thats all I wanted to say. Harvest homestead, Fort Kelvin definitely have wells. Willow Crush, Wescott and honestly most other non-fell villages very probably have those too. I constantly find them here and there

Oh i think i just learned that water Wells act like magic chests. You dont have to harvest the water it will use well water when crafting. Just the well only holds its normal amount.

I have 20-40 wells burried on each of my worlds so that gives me plenty of water all the time. 🙂

I have enough wells so that it generates 420 water every cycle, most are in an underground cave. That number was not intentional, but I'm not changing it .

I feel like some resources aren't as plentiful in this game, like amber or maybe salt. They have limited locations and you would eventually run out, especially if playing co-op. This game also has many more quests and lore and achievements than something like Valheim. If nothing regenerated, your friends could easily miss out on things unless everyone was always on, which is rare for most people. Valheim has a bunch of premade assets that are easy to plop down anywhere. Enshrouded has unique, hand-crafted POIs. I have over 1200 in Valheim and loved being a viking, but I spend my time here now. The building is superior, there's so many unique and interesting places to see and every update just makes it better. Having a "scorched earth" policy for the world would kinda suck and be a step backward.

The loot tables are pretty bad for single use chests. Imagine looting all endgame chests where half of the rewards are common items.

It already feels bad to wait/reload the world just to reset the chests. The fundamental issue is that the loot tables just feel unrewarding/insulting for the effort sometimes.

Variety in weapons and builds is very limited: 2h is the most bonk while mage gets to deal with... +1 mana regen etc. which is barely something at this stage.
And don't get me started that we have resistance to some stuff, like less ice damage etc. which you barely notice at all.

Not to mention that I still feel that poison for the Flameborn is in a bad state if only animals can be poisoned at all

change we made recently during a hotfix changed how we internally reference a couple of bookshelves that if I'm not mistaken were only buildable using our world editing tool (or the Builder's Companion for players), and basically that "V" is the top of an "X" showing a missing 3D model

basically the thing you placed in the world no longer calls the model it was attributed to, since that changed

so it calls the missing reference placeholder

Bows (and Daggers) scale with Dex. The Arrow in this case is just mana-powered and not hand crafted.

Dex, and frost nodes don't increase it. Only blue nodes that help with eternal arrow are spirit (for mana pool, but with potions mana is easy, not worth chasing) and the skill that gives back mana on a successful crit - that one is actually pretty useful with it

If you take that mana on crit node, eat some food with mana regen, and stack dex and bow crit eternal can be pretty solid

@lament wolf In the North there are again a few familiar spots to get your gear. One of them is the hollow halls that arent finished yet (presumably). There's a golden chest there for the picking. Another real easy one is on the top of the spire.. right next to where you load in is a door loading to a room with a chest. You just have to press the buttons to the left and right first while not getting burnt.. it's easy.

There's a few others you can reach when jumping from the middle of the map. In the north east there is a giant skeleton and there's 2 golden chests (iirc) there as well. Just have to know the spots 😄

hello everyone, I have a question if anyone knows : the iron pickaxe has 0.7s attack speed, the bronze one has 1s attack speed, and yet they both seem to hit at the exact same rate

Yeah, its funny. You play up to HH and it's very managable. Then you get to HH and it's you and 54 of your worst enemies trapped inside a janitors closet and one of them swallowed the key. Good luck. Kind of thing.

I actually had to be somewhat smart with how I tackled these hordes, used the little skull summons to their full pontential and used the environments to kite enemies more efficiently
