I dont really think its a major update, but any update is alway welcome, for a game in early access, this is already amazing, and just thinking how large the covered part of the map is and how immersive the game already is, just give me much to look forward to~

Yeah probably a good idea. The performance is fair at this moment. You need to use upscaling and if you are on older hardware yeah it will suck. But they still need to fix the textures getting stuck in low resolution which has been an issue for a while (and its probably a complex problem)

I would not call it a bug if it was set by the developer to this value. Its a compensation for the other bonuses for enemies dmg , HP etc.

Yeah I can't even use rt that well since my card is 12gb. If I use Ray tracing 9 times out of 10 I surpass 90-95% gpu usage then start to get insane frame drops or crashes. Definitely a memory consumption issue in my eyes.

On my 2nd world i used the 200% mining damage to make it a bit easier but if you are building something seriously big the grind can be a bit insane. The loot modifier coud use sub setting for stuff like stones and dirt as well.

Hmmm... does feel a bit like a compromise. They know we want to pull blocks from magic chests for the hammer, but didn't make it fully standalone since you still need the material on you. My guess is that this might change later and allow the hammer to automatically have access to any material block in magic storage, since it doesn't really add any value to require having a single block on you

I have actually asked this question and the response i got was that they didn't want the players to be scrolling through a list of 30/40/50 whatever blocks just to find the one they wanted. Hmmm... my thought on that is that I would overhaul the block selection menu entirely. Rather than a single column you scroll through, I think they could keep that as the "quick access" block selection, but then it would be better to implement another new menu that can be opened to act as a block filter. You are presented with a full list in grid layout of all the block types/counts you have in your magic storage, you check the ones you want to currently use, they are added to the quick Ctrl+scroll menu, boom, best of all worlds

Well one could argue, the whole point of the magic chest, is so we don't have to go back and forth and have things all in our inventory. But now we still have to have atleast one building block into our inventory? And what if we have like 20-30 blocks we need for building. Then we have 20-30 different blocks of one, that then pull out of magic chests. Makes it a bit redundant to me. But not a deal breaker. Just ... kinda defeats the purpose to me.

Think of it from a developer perspective. Porting to an entirely separate OS (console) is not an easy or quick feat. Not only do you have to account for the hardware differences, you need to adapt your entire control scheme to ensure it's flexible enough to handle any console differences and still allow access to all the same functionality as PC users get.

If you were a game dev with a small/medium team you would absolutely specialize and focus on a single version first, and then if the game continued to succeed you could expand your team to work on a port or hire an external company to do it.

Tbf, the skill tree and combat have seen the least amount of attention in the first year. Even with the Cap increase, and the extra skill points, we haven't gotten anything new or extended. It's a fair ask.
Games have audiences, and that's cool. Enshrouded is currently appealing much broader to the base dwellers and decorators. And that's fine. Does mean those of us who go kill stuff and cough main mage cough aren't over here feeling like oliver twist, kek

I have them all, likely you have missed some and visited others in duplicate. Revisit each one again, place a map marker on each one as you visit until you have all the achievements done, then you can remove the map markers.

It's the unfortunate by product when changes are made to landscape and POI's in a game. Luckily not affected in this game to date but I do know the feeling. I love that Keen is not rushing anything with this game. Such a refresh after so many hyped up titles have been rather lackluster due to premature/rushed releases.

understandable. I almost did that. my buddies that made creatures really convinced me to give 3D art a try and so I did and I love it.

I was a bit the opposite. I forced myself to become a programmer for the paychecks but hated it.
