I only go there when I'm doing a huge build. It does make it convenient. And it's nice to be able to see everything before building stuff so you get an idea of how big things are. I still mine and loot like a normal Embervalien for most things though.

When you start to host a game you can hit an edit button to set permissions. There are 3 levels that do different things all get their own password. Your bf needs to set those and you need to use the right password.

We have 2 Melee players in our group and after that Final Big Fight in the Donut Arena, all of us think Melee should get a Javelin or something they can throw that scales with Strength so they can actually contribute outside of parrying every 2 minutes to apply stun

Get them a bow with some stun arrows.

Being hard stuck as melee and only parrying the meteors isn't really contributing to the fight much.

That does work for Stunning, but a Thrown Consumable Damage Option for Melee would let them deal damage too, for outside that fight too

I mean, depending on how much Water Wells you do feature, I think it's not even needed. +10 Wells are enough for anything, except you try to be a factory.

I've travelled every edge of the red OOB line looking for clues.... tbh, thinking it is in fact something underground, in the shroud that they add

add that to the jan 23 image of being in the shroud with an axe, that's why I am thinking something shroud based

there's several red OOB sections near Albaneve that are in fact shroud too (that are more developed, refined geographically than others)

I find it highly doubtful that we'd get a map extension this soon after the mountains. Making a biome zone takes a long time and it's only been a couple months since Albaneve, which also happened right before the holidays and the Devs were on vacation.

It's also not a zone that you pass by when traveling to other zones. It's a bit out of the way.

I don't miss that. I grew up in Ohio and lived there until my late 20s. My last winter we had a lake effect blizzard, it was -25 with 20mph winds and snow up to my kneecaps. Had ice in my beard when I got home from my breath xD

Hard to say. It runs on deck now, but from what I understand the experience isn't great because the current gen deck only has 4gb vram, which is the bare minimum to run it

Yeah, I guess some deck optimization can solve the issues we are having on the deck. I thought maybe it will get the pass tho, since it will be releasing for consoles.

It's nice, on a clear day you can see the mountains and everything is a few hours away. Beach? 4 hours. Mountains and mountain springs/lakes? 3 - 4 hours. Desert dunes? 4 hours

Hard to say. Obviously it will see some optimizing between now and then but for current gen deck it'll be rough because the more they add, the harder it gets to run

And again, current gen deck has 4gb vram as compared to PS5, which has 16

I'd more plan on the next gen deck depending on how much they're able to cram into it

Though it does run and as I understand, it's not bad for building and doing domestic base type stuff, it's just not great for exploring and questing

Water is most likely not coming for a long, long time if ever.

Keep in mind that this is a small QOL update, and you should temper expectations. Water is definitely not in the scope of that type of update.
