Being a CD Projekt thing, I think GoG is relatively safe for a while. Plus you wouldn't need the client to run the games if it suddenly disappeared.

Yet again it's probably not needed this server is incredibly active.

That said, I don't believe they have any announced plans for the game to be anything more than a co-op experience, at least I haven't heard anything about an online multiplayer any more broad than what we have now

Any instanced content, which arguably Hollow Halls is already a type of instanced content, it will be entirely playable in local coop, solo play or in online play via a dedicated or hosted server.

Hi, I've been reading the reddit AMA, I've seen the affirmative answer that new weapons will be added, perhaps polearms and spears. But I haven't seen anything related to whether they are working on implementing new perks and/or modifying them. I think that everything related to Vuklah and animal neutrality should be separate from dexterity and resistance since this simply (in my opinion) makes archers and daggers too OP. Another thing that I haven't seen but maybe someone can have information on is if they are going to add more foods for different types of builds and if they are going to add foods that can mix several types of characteristics. There is currently a liquid that gives Dexterity and normally liquids give Endurance and Stamina Recharge (the idea I'm raising is if there will be liquids that can be used for other builds like those that give, in addition to Endurance and SR, for example, Strength in some or Intelligence or Mana Recharge.
Will there be mushrooms or other herbs or prepared foods that give Spirit and Intelligence at the same time?
Currently there is the Wrap food that gives Constitution 5 and Intelligence 1. But there is no variety for that point in the game (desert biome) that gives Spirit and Constitution or that mixes Dexterity and Intelligence in the same food. Obviously the foods that can make certain builds better should be more expensive but it would be nice to be able to play hybrid

Try putting the fossils in your hotbar and selecting them. It works for the instrument quest (though they might have to play the instruments, so I am not certain). If not you may have to just try to pick them up in the wild again.

Enshrouded's demo map was about 1km², Early Access is currently about 24km², and the full release map is planned to be around 64km².

Yeah, people were more worried about it pre-launch when we didn't know anything. Now that we've seen for ourselves there are less questions about how big the world is

But that's worth pondering too, are they including HH in terms of world size, or do instanced dungeons exist in their own pocket dimension that doesn't count against the total? 🤔

Even if they say its "1 meter" vs. "several km" - it's an ingame measurement.

Exactly. I mean, you could measure 1km in game with blocks and get some kind of concept of scale, but not only are most people not doing that, it doesn't help to conceptualize an area unless you're like, an interior designer who deals in area measurements all day xD

Thats why prelaunch we had people posting the size of other game worlds. Just saying 24km² is meaningless to most laypersons

The CMs are available and answer questions 5 days a week. Toast and CUB will often ask the devs directly if they don't have an answer

There are about 20K users here on Discord, Almsot 70K users on the Enshrouded Reddit. AMAs are traditionally a reddit thing. It's easier to refrence stuff on reddit after the fact because of Discord's dynamic nature.

If anything, it would almost (I say almost) be fair to say the Discord has more access to ask direct questions to Keen than the Reddit does

If only because you can have a real-time conversation with them

(They also hang out on the Reddit too, but you're limted to posting and waiting for a reply vs being in an active chat)

I've dabbled in the feature suggestions before with not much response. some ideas are just to far out there. maybe providing specific details on suggestions begets the TLDR phenomenon, who knows.

Toast and CoolUsernameBro (CUB for short) are on here 5 days a week for about 12 hours a day, and both are very accessible when it comes to game questions. They might not have the answer (or might not be allowed to say for reasons), but they do their best to respond to everyone they can

I understand that there might be some works in the back ground that leave some questions just not something that can be answered for various reasons I just saw the AMA announcement today and the question in my mind came up. has there been such an event on discord. not really viewing the discord as a possible 5 day/week constant "ask me anything" and thats more or less on me for not asking that question earlier.

All good. As far as being open and accessible, Keen really is above and beyond most development studios I've personally encountered. Sure a lot of studios will have a CM who will pop up for a couple hours and answer a few questions, but Toast and CUB especially go out of their way to be a part of the Discord community. Hang out more, you'll see them a lot ^^

oh yeah, I ran into that as well when trying to swap out rings with a full inventory, my guess is the first part of the code sequence is to place the equipped object from the players character accessory slot and place it in the inventory and then place the newly selected object into players character accessory slot. if there is no room in the inventory for the accessory item to be placed than the sequence cannot begin even though the overall goal is to simply switch positions between 2 objects.
