There's a transmog you can get from doing a couple different secrets called the "Waist of Time" and my character is a time dragon so naturally I needed to get it. Took a few days and a friend or two to get it all done lol. Which coming from someone who only quests to get to endgame and once there only logs on for raid and M+, getting me to interact with any other portion of the game for even that long was a feat.

Found a YouTube comment that solved this. Once you lockpick it, don't collect the item. Close the chest and reopen it. It'll complete the quest after. Worked for me 😄

I don't think they'll ever introduce something that will fully protect you from any damage type. So you'll never be able to stand next to a miniboss and hack it to death.
You have to learn its attack patterns and time your dodges

Add some depth with a cornice, more windows as well. Use a stone foundation where the the lighter walls rest on. Make the top slightly wider than the bottom. It'll still look solid because the foundation is stone. Add a basement that can be accessed from both the inside and outside, preferably from the kitchen or under the stair going to the second floor. Use colorful flora and hanging planters, as well as foliage to create a look of vines.

Imagine living in the house, then think what do you need and what needs to be connected logically so it's not too far away from each other. Kitchen for example needs access to a storage/pantry and the dining room. Also needs to be easily accessed from a home entry point.

You can create cornices with any block material

Gilanthas has some good builds, you can use heavier solid foundations at the bottom and still make something taller on the top as long as the top material is lighter

Remember that design language is important, decide on a material and color scheme, then don't deviate from that. Oh and try not to make high floors have a stone floor, it wouldn't be realistic if that's what you're going for. Stone floors are very heavy and need structural support. In the game the physics don't matter but it's what the eyes of the beholder sees that matters

They'll only give a skill point the first time you whack one

But they do respawn so that in multiplayer nobody misses out on the point if they weren't there

So unless you've got a reason to go back there, once a root is ticked on your map you don't need to bother with it again

Quests give a lot of xp, probably the best return on time investment, but aside from that just fighting enemies who are your level would be the best

mining does give xp but I don't think it's a good return on time

Yep I thought that but it’s not very clear to me yet what level enemy’s are in certain locations and I’m enjoying discovering more of the map so it’s quite tedious

Yeah, eventually as you get further into the game you become more equipped to be able to handle enemies who are higher than your level, but it can take a bit of time to get out of the "I will get one-shot by anything that looks at me" stage of the game.

Yeah following their quests will also get you access to better gear which will help a ton

Hollow Halls is aimed as group content so whilst it's doable solo 'at the appropriate level' i'd advise waiting till you're higher level for sanity purposes 😄

Make sure you have the bait on your action bar and in your hand. When you get close enough to throw the bait, left click to throw, wait until they start eating then move close and press E to pet them. If they have multiple hearts to fill, you will need to move away, rinse and repeat until all hearts are filled.

There's an aim cursor that pops up on the relevant enemy (big or flying). There's no tooltip that pops up like sneak or merciless, but you can just press your action key (eg. E) and should triggle the grapple

Normally the glowing plates above a door hint how much of these switches you need to find.
Switches that are out in the wild usually turn dark as you hitted them.
