I think that would depend on the hosting service but many have dashboards letting you adjust those settings. If you're hosting your own server those should be settings you can set via the server file. I'm not a big server guru though, I've only ever set up one myself and it was for a different game.

Someone over in #server-support will definitely know the answer to that question though.

People have been reporting co-op issues with the new patch so I don't know for sure what is and isn't a current problem, what is hanging around from the pre-patch build and what is new. But the server permission settings have been in the game for a little bit now, so I imagine most dedicated hosting sites should have options to change them by now.

The problem is more on the means "If they give the player pets, they will demand skills for said pet. If they want skills for said pet, they'll want it to follow it everywhere. If the pets AI behaves janky, they'll complain." etc.
I get that it is requested, but I doubt they'll "fight" on that front before 1.0

That's what we thought when we first found it, but we stepped one foot down and everything went red with our shroud timers draining fast. My buddy took a couple dives down to see what's what, and he found two things: first, the path down keeps going for maybe 20-30 meters, and second, there's a small army of shroud mooks down there ready to fight. Iirc, there were a couple dozen of the regular guys, seven or so banshees, and a few thunderbrutes to cap it off. His timer didn't survive long enough to fight anything, though

What leveled have you strengthened your flame to?

If it is populated with mobs then it is likely an area that you will unlock as you strengthen the Flame Altar at your bases

I finally beat the first shroudwyrm (at ||Pike||), and my game crashed

I noticed they may not be despawning, but they're warping to an area you're not aware of. Baalthazar somehow warped 50 meters under his tower where I have a lab that he has no way of accessing but the game decided it wanted him to wander there. He warped back up after a while of me leaving him.

I would say the tower...but that node was vanished away. Saline Quarry isn't too terrible to gather salt in even if its still in the shroud.

at 100% I have nearly 2.5 circles.
