In the 1200 hours I have played I notice there seem to be a lot of loose ends. Little pockets missing here and there not game breaking but very noticeable and making it look incomplete.
Some would consider small details (I dont) where things were missed or fallen short and they just left it maybe for later

They've been pretty good about going back and updating and changing things so far.
Towns have been redesigned, armor sets have been changed, combat balancing etc.
Generally it seems like Keen builds a system and gets the basic functionality out into production then works on adding features afterwards.

Enemy attacks on bases fall in a few categories.
Either they give nothing besides being an annoyance, or drop something that you'll need so you have to farm them and sit waiting for them to spawn.
You could give the ability to spawn them with an item, which takes away from the random spawns basically making them an annoyance again if they're not what you want.
Toggles aren't great either because if they give something you miss out on loot, feels bad.

I have 4 of up to 13 rooms in the maze which is kind of a haunted house with themed rooms. I have to finish sealing any halls and decorating any dead ends, I have a little bit to do on the surface cemetery, then the final polish pass on everything. Will probably be done next week. I am making use of a LOT of the space. It's not just one Halloween display, it's like a whole thing.

It could be cheeseable yes. That doesn't mean it would be bad. Many people love raids and those people wouldn't cheese on mechanic they like. If you don't like it just keep it off. We need to add some sense of danger and meaning to the base building.
7 days to die have also cheeseable raids but they are still very fun

It would be a big effort for them to do "right" for sure. We've seen so far with their features that when they add them, they dont half-ass it. So doing it in a way that works super well would probably be a lot of work.
But the community is super split on if they want them or not, so I imagine there's bigger priorities for now. Might be an addition we see eventually though.

i dont play RPGs too much, so im confident at least some part of it is a skill issue, 100% but the hit canceling and issues with (some kinda of) ground slam ability i had just was buggy and annoying
when i reel back for a heavy swing and the enemy does the same, when i hit, it should cancel their attack, but it doesnt
however if the enemy goes for a heavy attack at the same time as me and hits first, it still cancels mine, and that always bothered me

That's just the problem, the content of DLC's can be added to the existing game without the need for a DLC via a major update and any future funding for non content based stuff could be through a cash shop. So many games from the 90's and early 2000's did this. They had major updates with all the content changes, funding was done through a cash shop. Even free to acquire games did this and managed just fine.

It's a bit early for us to be talking about specifics but the point is: give people who love the game and want more of it different avenues to support the continued development of Enshrouded, whether it's by getting a cool outfit for Halloween or by spending more to experience a new part of the world

So I have to remove the looted item from my hot bar every time I pick something up so that I can continue to use this skill? Am I misunderstanding something or is this the expected experience?

Which is really kinda silly one of the hallmarks of a tank is the ability to agro. Every game knows that.

imo agro should be based on proximity, enemy intelligence, and cc, and give the tank cc abilities
