Yeah, the amount of work to add mod support is not insignificant. They've said they want to support mods, but probably won't get that until 1.0 or beyond because it's a big project by itself.

They've got a lot to do to finish the game, which is definitely more important than mod support. That said, they know that folks want ways to communicate in-game. You can check out the feature upvote site to add your voice to that feature as well.

I give it a 9/10, it feels like zelda 3 a link to the past a bit, which is my fave zelda,
but it also has really neat puzzle mechanics that is botw-like,
and the summoning of items and differently behaving monsters to solve dungeons are really fun!

it also have side-scroll part of dungeons like some of the older zeldas which are cool. ^^

I was just thinking, I play so many crafting games and I end up building more or less a production operation from it. It would be cool to have a game where you could actually create links between workbenches to storage hoppers then other equipment or workbenches that draw product or materials from that hopper so on and so on.

Eve Online was a lot to take in people usually play that game for years. Mostly because skills are needed for everything and they are trained in real time, even when you are logged out. 6 weeks for jump drive calibration level V or somewhere around that, but it's needed if you are going to have a jump freighter pilot

You can have more than one pilot. I have two 1.4 million SP industrial pilots, a jump freigher pilot, and a combat pilot.

Eve is like an automation game but all the conveyor belts are real actual players and instead of waiting an hour for that thing to craft you wait months for all the materials to get grinded for that titan your clan wanted and it's worth thousands of real life dollars by the time you're done making it.

Eve is one of those games I follow but will never play. I played albion online for a couple years though, which is quite similar.

Correct, it sends it to the nearest 'safe' station, usually lowsec. So one, it can end up in shitty places and 2 you have to pay a % to 'collect' it from the station before you do anything with it. So when you're talking billions in assets, i just evact it with jump freighters.

Oh yea, we used to have a few solo roamers that hunted in provi. One in particular was a regular and we were the sort that always stayed away because it was a chance he had a cyno (He ran a Tengu.) We did set up a little trap for him one day though and actually caught him. (We left 4 domi's out ratting and switch one each of our toons to a Rapier and Arazu :D) He was actually one of the good ones though, he actually applauded us on catching him and admitted that he should have realised it were a trap because he knew we were never in space when he flew through 😄

I loved flying Tengu's. I often used them for ratting just for funs. Bad thing about flying Tengu though is if you get detroyed you lose some skill in one of your mods.

So I just got the game because my girlfriend got it and found it interesting. We play as much together as we can, but I want to keep building our resources when she, the host, is not online. Would you consider it cheating or cheesing it if I build my own world, same difficulty, and farmed resources up to the point we've gotten to? So currently we've unlocked the Hunter, so hunting for salt would be the max "tier" of resources.

You can move resources between worlds so I dont see a problem

The way the game is made allows for such actions to be done (People have made resource worlds) Given what you're suggesting i wouldn't personally see anything 'cheating' about it but that side of it depends on your personal interpretation ^^

And I have three characters level 25 all quests completed, they all have their own world, own base builds and resource. If I want something I can just log into another charcters world and pick something up or drop it off

So I dont really see any problem with it kinda the way the game is meant to be played I think

I have heard people having issues getting the keys but 'normally' they've missed a step in the quests or not picked something up. I'd suggest looking on the Wiki (I think it tells you how to get it?) Make sure you've done everything and if it you still cant then make a bug report ingame using F1/esc menu and if you need to get the key seperately, then use a resource world.

Search resource in the in game server list and you'll be able to find worlds that generally reset at set times, you can go in those and take things from the chests. Progression shouldn't be a problem. A character cant be further ahead than a world afaik. And most quests are still world based with optional character 'completition'

Like when a dev doesnt like paladins then leave them weaker than other classes. Then anyone that likes playing paladin just gets owned all the time. i say kick that dev to the curb. Not needed.

One game that had really good classes and balance was DAoC

class balance was a constant work in progress but they did pretty well with it

it's older and past it's prime but it was a great game and design. It had three realms at war with each other so on battlegrounds (the pvp areas) you had three factions, Albion, Midgard and Hibernia. Could lead to some really interesting fighting

each realm had like 18 unique classes (which had a similar counterpart in the other realms)

If you haven't played since release, there's a ton of new stuff, even in the existing biomes. Lots of reworked points of interest and QOL updates, so a new playthrough is probably gonna feel pretty good.

Map progression, like unlocking survivors, flame level and Spires are still server-wide.
