On the topic of bugs... I really hope they change the way those critters work like the bugs, rats and spiders. They're not dangerous - just annoying. They come out very slowly in waves so you basically just have to wait for them to show up to 1-hit them, wasting time

In 8 mounth this was the only update that needed more polishing in my opinion. It was cool to have something for the summer, even tho revesiting the hollow halls was a pain in the a**. For new players they will be more entertaining and rewarding.

I'm not against the Hollow Halls in general, I just find the runes you need to collect to "unlock" the doors should be reduced by amount of players.
5 runes each player seems reasonable - and from there on, make it random which runes are active

I mostly like the Hollow Halls because the game was lacking more long-form dungeons beforehand. My only issue with them is that those orbs are frustrating to find sometimes

Yeah, I can tell you have an understanding of theory for sure. I just mean that a piano played using MIDI will always sound more natural. Synths and drums etc. aren't usually obvious when plugged in, but I find that piano is hard to make sound real when it's done without playing it for real

As of current writing (6 Febuary 2024) we do not have any plans to force wipes at any time. However, with the Enshrouded being in early access and the fact that a LOT of things will change between now and full release, we cannot guarantee that there may or may not be a major update
that requires old saves to break.

Also being that so much is changing, there is always a chance that an update may break old saves, so we recommend backing up saves regularly that you care about. As this would be something that could be the end of the world for players.

We will do our best to avoid this, and it's not something we're planning intentionally we cannot guarantee this will "never happen" either since there are a lot of unknown variables in the future.

I kinda found it funny that the Queen's Tomb quest reset like I had never done it, but now all my ancient spire quests are reset and I can't even see them on the map anymore. the devs unfortunately aren't active in discord and don't communicate in the server, (they are actively coding the game instead of typing in here) only the PR team is active in here (cubs,toast or frog). so the devs are only made aware of community issues through the suggestion/upvote website and the in game bug report system (press F1).

Thats not really a very good strategy to make sure a bug gets fixed. There are bound to be bugs in Early Access as they upgrade core systems like the quests, thats the nature of early access. So far, Keen has been very responsive with fixes and improvements.

Pressing F1 in game to report bugs is the best way to make sure they see it. Just try and provide all the information you can there so they can have the easiest time diagnose what the root issue is.

only thing i can think of is it has to do with the new personal quest progression system which you can activate or deactivate.. but basically you might need to repeat some quests that in the past were completed with a group? it's a bit annoying to redo quests, but if you only have to redo them once and then it sticks, it's at least only a hiccup rather than a persistent bug... it would absolutely suck if you have to keep redoing a quest... but my guess is once you do these 1 more time, you'll have them forever now.

Next thing is, while Stats are the lowest, that doesn't mean it has to be a very challenging season at all. I'd wish they'd reverse the cycle and just make later seasons harder than the starter one. Because some of my guild members even struggle to equip themselves properly etc.

(The reason why we almost entirely skipped S4, we killed all bosses heroic and were done for)
