The quest thing was for everyone. A group of friends play on the same server, but cant necessarily be online at the same time, so if one completed a quest when the others were not around, then the others wouldn't be able to do it.

If I'm in the same "chunk / cell / whatever it's called here": Yes. If I go into the neighbor one: First one will reset. If you cross an area multiple times you (because you want to search for a base location for example) you get multiple resets as you enter multiple chunks. 🤷‍♀️

From what I can tell this laptop doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, which our game is fairly demanding on. The message you're referring to shows up when you don't have a graphics card that fits our minimum specs (which that laptop doesn't).

It is a great game for sure i have played for 6+years now. It is a bit tedious at the start. Lots of running back and forth while doing the Main Story Quest (MSQ). It is very playable solo all the way to the end of the MSQ and then if you care for Raids and stuff you can use the Party finder feature. The MSQ is the main thing in the game. All the dungeons and progression is connected to the MSQ. It does take a while to catch up to "current content" but there is no rush to do anything. Definetly more comfortable than WoW (played it for 5 years) since you can have one character and play all the classes and crafters on it.

If the User Group is not enabled, they will not be able to join as that group.

For a fairly new game these updates are so refreshing. Usually companies just release and don't really pay attention to the rest / only fix major bugs.

Kudos to the Enshrouded dev team for actually listening to feedback and making amazing improvements.

About Server Wipes & Character Resets...

... On the topic of "wipes", we do not have any plans to force wipes at any time. However being early access and being that a LOT will change and be added to the game over time, we can't guarantee that there might not be a major update that requires old saves to break.

Also being that so much is changing, there is always the chance that an update might break old saves, so I recommend backing up saves you really care about if this would be something that is the end of the world for you as a player.

But yeah, we're not planning on intentionally doing this, but we also can't guarantee it will "never happen" either, since there's a lot of unknown variables in the future.
