I killed a boss without my friend he couldnt a bit later. We said relaunch the server see if it loads it did woah crazy concept. Environment is a server based thing not player based. If gamers use their gamer brains it's easy to figure out.

You don't get access to beehives until you kill the vukah boss in the vukah canyon, so you're forced to get from wild sources until then.

That boss would be considered current late game.

I just simply collected it as I traveled. The starting area has a few, harvest Homestead has at least 1. Multiple other locations have it to with single nests. Just be patient with the need for large amounts of wax until you can make the beehives.

You're going to need to start producing sugar for beehives so as you travel through the nomad highlands try to grab some sugarcane to start farming.

The sicklescythe boss is well known for loot that ends up getting lost in walls. You have to be careful about the very last hit and not when it's teleporting around, which seems to be the main time when loot gets lost. Sometimes it'll teleport into a wall and then have trouble getting out and you have to lure it back out before killing it because of the much higher chances of loot getting lost in the wall.

Tan giant mushrooms are passive and won't cause a problem. The loot they drop is more trouble than it's worth. You could always do what I did and "build/unbuild" to dig a narrow trench around the edge of your place, that stops everything except for the vulture birds that can fly over it.

There's quite a few level 25 gold chests in the desert area, many of them you can reach without even fighting anything.

Some take some fighting and can be difficult if you're not strong enough, like the three level 30 vulture birds that guard the sun temple in the far southeast corner of the map where the ghost glider is.

really trying to understanding a few things as a lvl 25 with really good gear. I play with my husband. What is the prupose of food? The buffs are not really worth anything to fight bosses bc we take them down quickly. which means the gardening, other than for asthetic purposes, is pretty null and void.

If you played by yourself, sure the food buffs would be good as well as gardening but as a team. Its pretty worthless. So is the crafting for armor/weapons. You don't even need to craft them bc you can farm them. Only thing you need to craft are blocks and furniture...

Really only need magic chests for raw and refined materials that are waiting for final products. Once something is made a regular huge chest is perfectly fine.

I have 32 huge, 2 small and 8 tiny chests, none are magic at the moment because I've been playing almost purely solo on my own server. Eventually I'll turn some of the huge chests into magic chests and hide them in the basement, the green color doesn't fit with decor well.

Yeah well I just spent the day farming spores and shroud liquid to make 16 shroud cores so I could move the flame alter. Then when I returned I was spawning on the opposite side. Too late to change it now maybe in the future when I have stockpiles of shroud cores.

They reworked it so your not locked into looting you can just move away. They need to rework some harversting animations and crouching as well.

Sprint should always break a crouch. And any movement should always break an animation like using wood axe or pick axe

the weapons have various levels of quality. I can't recall ever seeing a rusty sword with a higher quality than normal, but a lot of other weapons do. They are defined by color. A green, uncommon weapon have one extra bonus, a blue has 2 and so on.

Giving up staffs when you're a mage is Giving up a big chunk of DPS. It's going to hurt. You'll still need a staff and the eternal ice bolt for doing some puzzles because not all switches can be reached by hand or wand. Sometimes you need a staff or bow.

Everything respawns in 30 mins, as long as you're out of the area. If you enter it before that timer expires it resets.

Part of the issue for me is that I was looking for the longbow and there's only one late game longbow. I can't imagine why we'd need five different short bows and only one longbow.
