No one is yet sure If +7 fire damage adds +fire damage or not to the regular attack.

Enshrouded is a demanding game, resources-wise. Few other games have an engine that can allow full map destruction and voxel modification... but that comes at a price

Generally the most sophisticated forms of banning is types of hardware ID bans, which is mostly just trying to identify the components of your machine as a sorta unique digital fingerprint.

i've heard of a method for cheaters where technically you dont need to even ban them, you need to detect them, and then you place them in a box, change their packet data, so nothing they do effects anyone else, so for example in a shooting game, they might use cheats to get kills, but nobody is affected by their bullets, so eventually they just stop cheating and now they can kill people again. (the actual term for this box was ||idiot box||)

i am unsure why more people don't just do this, would kill cheating pretty quickly.

"Hacked" is a fairly generic term and could mean a lot of things - but if someone just got into a password protected game, they would not be able to do anything to your server that could put anyone at risk from inside the game.

If they got into your server itself, it might (if they really know what they are doing, and the stars align, which most don't) be possible, however that is an issue that you'll need to talk to your Server provider about, because they hacked the back end, which is not something the game itself controls.

But yeah cheating problems mostly come from network lag and the resulting netcode devs have to use to compensate for it tbh. It's why FPS games have the most hacker problems. In order for those games to not feel horrible to play they need to trust the client on a lot of inputs, aim/movement especially. And that trust is what most cheats take advantage of.
