I know this isn’t knight themed but I drew my new dnd character from this cyberpunk campaign I’m in. Anyways his code name is Noir, he’s a noir styled gritty private detective with 4 cybernetic arms, cybernetic eyes, a hand cannon, alcoholism, and a love for bare knuckle fighting. An ex cop who starts his own private detective agency out of his apartment after getting kicked off the force for beating info out of the suspects. He loves it when whoever he’s tracking starts fighting back or refuse to give info.

I'm too lazy and stingy to source actual cosplay stuff and buy things, so I put this together.

A white jacket can act as the hauberk + a shirt I wrapped around my head can be the "coif" (it wraps around my neck nicely & gives that impression), then I added the tank top I wear at my home on top of the hoodie as a "surcoat". I'm not sure if I'll wear the gloves, it's kinda small on my honestly.

That being said, I'll walk around university looking like this for our UniDays. It'll be fuckin cool. Downside though, it's hot. Also, I based it off someone's armor I found on google

I am trying to draw a full armor harness inspired by the works of Lorenz Helmschmied (keyword: inspired) and the gothic style of armor itself, but with functionality and decoration taking priority over period authenticity. The chest piece is a brigandine, but it is supposed to be interchangeable with a cuirass.

It is supposed to have an ocean and scallop motif with the colors being Black, Yellow and Blue; and that is where my problems lie in: I am trying to make the front pauldrons big to be able to defend the armpit (this is a foot harness) and decorated as if they were scallops shells, but I can't quite seem to get them to look right and I struggle giving them shoulder lames that look geometrically right (which I do want to give them, both to add a connection point for the pauldrons and bevor, and for more shoulder defense). The bevor also looks off to me for reasons I can't quite put a finger on, it is supposed to reach to the tip of my nose.

Again, it is not supposed to look appropiate for a particular period beyond the second half of the 15th century-early 16th century. Decoration motifs, while greatly inspired by the gothic style, is NOT supposed to be limited to JUST in the gothic style.

I would appreciate suggestions for the design. Please DM me it since I can't make a thread.
