There's no physics issues, maybe balancing issues with strength that make it hard to use heavy weapons early on.
Which really checks out with the sudden bad reviews within the first hours of EA release. Players played for less than an hour, didn't have strength, tried to use big weapons and couldn't and thought the game was broken lol. The performance issues being addressed with two updates within two days of EA have helped 😅

I put it like a hands distance from the guard. The thought process is you don't want it too low or too high. Better to have it above the grip so when you swing the weight carries it. Too low and you have to fight to bring the sword down 🤷
