The worst thing you can do is buy a custom PC case. It’s a nightmare to open, and if you want to upgrade your parts, you can’t — nothing fits because of the weird sizes. I ended up smashing my Aurora R4 with a chisel and a hammer trying to get it open. Honestly, upgrading to a new case just makes more sense. The old Aurra R4 was cool for its time, but everything inside it is custom — the motherboard, the power supply, even the shape of the panels. It’s almost impossible to upgrade anything without running into compatibility issues. Modern cases use standard layouts, so you can easily replace the motherboard, GPU, or CPU cooler whenever you want. Plus, they have way better airflow, cable management, and space for bigger GPUs like the 5070.
