So, there is technique needed, brute force doesn't typically cause the dismemberment in my experience, and its dependent on your fps, so poor performance makes it less consistent as well.
A lot of the swords also don't have very much cutting power, even if it visually goes through them, the dismemberment is kinda activated by something else I think?
