For the combat! You know during the playtest gore had to be completely disabled majority of the time and people still played that to an insane degree lol. Everyone has their own priorities, you enjoy gore too much to turn it down, that’s fine. But it is a temporary “fix” that can help alleviate fps issues until they get things optimized
