No, he's right. It's in Germany. All of the default names are German, and the town of Frankenburg seems to be based on the real city of Frankenberg, Hesse in Germany. A real medieval city back then.

The Baron and Jester are French, and apparently possibly come from Burgundy, which isn't too far away from real life Frankenberg, so it makes sense.

yeah i know you can do it with clicks but i think there is something - perhaps unintended - that stops actual blades getting through outside of physics bugs which sometimes allow blades to get through armor

ive tested in both ea and demo and yeah there is either no blade small enough or the hitboxes for blades are seperated from the cursor hitboxes cause ive still yet to see a convincing eample

i would be more accepting but stabs and cuts through the visor should be pretty common clips for people show and despite that ive never seen one that cant be dismissed as normal armor breaking cuts

But indeed it seems its blade is so light and the balance might be slightly below the guard. So it can be effortlessly swing extremely fast. Even faster than single handled swords in base game. So despite it rarely cuts through armor or helmets, its insane speed allows me to stun a knight by hitting at his helmet. After all it is really easy to hit using this sword lol.

If you don't quit out and just continue after losing the match or whatever, your next fight will start with the empty inventory overlay again but you can at least move around and use your inventory, it's just in the way lol. It's that way in sparring anyway, and doesn't go away until you exit sparring. Not sure about regular fights

@plain brook alright so I was having trouble actually pushing a sword into a sallet visor so I used ue5 unlocker to freeze the game and physically move the sword that my character was holding and position it so it was going through the visor and stabbing into the nose and ultimately into the brain of an npc and then I resumed time while it was in slomo to see what happens. It seems that the sword just gets phased out of the head/helmet and no damage is done to the npc, as if the sword isn't meant to be there. Of course, it would move away rapidly anywaey since it's going to snap back to my character's hands once time begins moving again but anyway. This is the first time I've done anything like this, so I don't know if this is typical behavior etc. I'll test more again at some point later today.
