I know. It sucks. It's gone, but if you do what I'm telling you to do you can move forward and create a new character. I said move Saved not delete because you said GameProgress.sav isn't 0kb so it's at least not entirely corrupted, you can still possibly put it into a save editor and see what your character's day was, weight, height, money, etc and apply that to your new save.

If you don't care about that, then just delete the folder. Make sure the game is closed while you're doing all of this

well. if your being mindful for how heavy each piece is and trying to avoid slipping on slums or being easier to knock over, but seeing as lower tier enemies typically have axes and those tend to cut through chainmail surprisingly well, id recommend vambraces and gauntlets, or harnesses. or pauldrons and gauntlets, kinda mix n match if you dont wanna go full arm armor

ive just got a better sense of how to do it, the setup is really the trickiest part like just getting into that position, what im noticing is that while you do need to tap RMB to break the grip, you also gotta hold it down for just the right amount of time so it doesnt lock it in halfsword grip thus pulling the haft back into place, needs to have the right hand drop back down to the base of the haft again before you can swing properly
