because like explained in the message, if you don't the file will be deleted when you open the game and none of the settings will save. You don't have to if you don't want to but you'd have to copy the file back into that folder every time you start the game up

no, it's just a config file. If you're worried about your game progress though, you can back it up by going to %localappdata%\HalfSwordUE5 and copying the Saved folder somewhere safe, which I recommend since it seems people randomly get corrupted saves sometimes

A large shield on my back has saved my life multiple times

I do have an issue with the heater shield on the back though, it seems to glitch with holstered weapons sometimes and causes me to get pulled in a direction, or makes it hard to run/move, not always though

the only way I know is to drag the horse beside it, get on the horse and kick your leg over the side and finagle your way into it, but it's easier to just try and grab the items through the side of the wagon

if you keep pressing H you'll continue stripping your armor off

Ngl I used a big ass axe for everything from beggar to veteran. Soldier is soft armors with small amounts of plate. Im a fan of conventional right-hand swing weapons so the axe is my sharp weapon and a hafted is my blunt weapon. If you care to be accurate, go for something sharp, just dont hit the plate and make sure you hit the good stuff. Otherwise go blunt. The length of your weapon and the weight of it matter a lot, but keep in mind the harder it is to swing the more stamina it takes. And super long poles make for shitty halfsword grip combat.
