It's all about the fine tuning of the joints. The Willie BP is a whole system, adjustments to how one part of the body functions can have unintended consequences in another area.

I think the demo outshining current Early Access isn't too surprising. I see it as a self-contained small portion of the game meant to demonstrate a bit of the general gameplay and functions/mechanics. It's been polished over 15 updates in a span of a year and 7 months.

Early Access is the full game itself, but we're playing it while it's in the middle of active development. It's only been out for two weeks, I have faith it will get better over time just as the demo did. It certainly deserves criticism though, but constructive hopefully. A lot of people on release day were being very toxic and hateful in here and towards the devs, it was really sad to see.

I must say though, I did fall victim to the hype surrounding the game and the team did find itself in the somewhat unenviable position of a downhill hype-train since you cannot afford to pull the brakes a second time (they already did that last year, in which it apparently was 'polish push'.)

promising the earth? I think that's quite a hyperbole. There's like 3 things from the trailer that we didn't get, Hordes, The Pit and Narrow Passage. And "Dare You Enter?" depending on what that's suppose to mean. I assume these things will come later.

If in a year or two from now the game is still lackluster, I'd agree with you. The demo was updated 15 times over a span of a year and 7 months to obtain its polish. Early access needs some time, we're playing it while it's in the middle of active development. Don't get me wrong though it certainly deserves criticism, but constructive I'd hope.
