I just don't agree with this. I held off until beating the baron to really commit to this opinion, but the combat just feels a lot better in the demo. Unarmored combat is just not working right in the EA right now, everything either explodes with the smallest tap or requires 5 minutes of pummeling to do anything. Armored combat is better, but still has the same fundamental issue.

And i have more total abyss hours throughout all of the previous builds in the game than i do with the current game's abyss. oh, well the best advice i can give would be just practice on letting yourself complete a full swing before attempting a followup, like let each attack settle after. and play with the forge to see if you can make weapons that have better balance for your playstyle. ill admit that pretty much all weapons aside from polearms are a bit weird in ea, the super limp wrists make for very flaily attack angles.

well thats where your going wrong, a very top heavy weapon, or a very heavy weapon in general makes for very weird wacky direction changes and movements, applies more external forces to your swing movements and lowers stamina faster, but low stamina doesnt look the same as it did in demo especially on darker maps where you cant notice it so you might not even realize when your swinging like shit cause of bad stamina

the optimization is very bad , way too liberal with "high quality" assets. For the top setting I'm okay with it but forcing every setting to have them is very bad design. The hair shouldn't be physically simulated on low, neither should foliage be 3d, make it lod into 2d sprites and make the hair a static mesh
