this is an atrocious tactic, any real swordsman knows to parry weak jabs with alber and injure while inside their dead zone. mordhau doesnt typically work to parry without crouching to move the polearm--which sacrifices balance and places your head within the line of attack.
mordhau is meant to be used in the opponent's high line, placing yourself low to enter dead zone occupies more time and creates an unnecessary hazard.

I was sprinting backwards and I held Q trying to equip one of my offhand weapons to throw it away to pick up a different one, and for some reason it made me simultaneously grab my battle axe and drop my falchion and I instantly began moving forward like that, I couldn't pull the battle axe all the way out and couldn't stop moving like that until I let go. It was quite odd, never seen that before.
For my equipment I had the boar spear, falchion in top left slot and battle axe in bottom left
