When Franky was still in Japan, he had a school project in mind, calling it "half sword" (2019 btw) it's technically half sword, physics based medieval combat, why technically? Because all of the half sword projects after that does connect to that version and it frankly does not look like half sword at all, not even Willie was in it, Franky released public build awhile back.

In this case I broke the hell out of my game with mods, but in general it's because the way the gore works is it spawns a second Willie, then culls all the bits that would have been cut away from both models and connects things where they need to be connected and some other magic.
Then it's supposed to kill both Willies instantly so they flop over dead and stuff, but sometimes it doesn't kill them properly
