Without videos to demonstrate, I can only speculate.

1: I have had a situation where my character would end up stuck moving to the side, this happened because my hands were caught on a sheathed side weapon. In my case, it was a dagger.

2: I have also had this situation also due to a side weapon. If my dagger is on my left hip and I sheath my sword, when I go to pull it out, it won't release. This was because it was sheathed higher up on my waist as the dagger was taking up the normal shealthing position.

3: This is just how things are in this state of the game, and can be caused by several different things.

4: Swinging hand not working is typically due to sustained damage. If no damage was taken and you cannot swing your weapon, it could be stuck on a side weapon on your hip, or perhaps something else.

Again, speculation due to lack of evidence.

oh yeah, and the swinging hand thing, sometimes you actually get hurt and don't notice before it's too late

I like to go to camera mnode and inspect when sometrhing seems off. Since we only see our backs, sometimes we don't notice small things in front.

I always go to camera mode when i take edged damage, especially if it's either near the arms or upper chest

sometimes you'll notice the blood dripping on the floor from you, but it's not often that you do

you can't look at everything at once

A big help is that you take a small breather from combat after taking a hit from a sword, if the screen starts to go really red, it was a debilitating shot, if willie starts to cough and scream, you're dead

besides, the planqon isn't that scary, you just need to know how to deal with it

try to flank them from either direction or wait until they go for a stab

even with a significantly small cut around the wrist or biceps, will make it so they can't swing at you with as much force anymore
