I have not played WWAATD beyond the demo so I cannot compare it. As stated on the store description you will start as a lowly commoner and be able to ascend the ranks to become a knight. Combat is the primary focus and all gameplay mechanics are centered around it. There will be more 'world' but the game is not story/lore driven.
