I think the next modes they add will all be related to the medieval tournament, such as the joust and quintana (if they add horses), Pankration, Mélée, Emprise, Barrier, and many others... as well as the simulated siege, a competition featured in some tournaments. But I don't think they'll add the latter, since creating any historically accurate large-scale battle with NPCs is practically impossible. Especially considering that it would be incredibly difficult to recreate them with other players...

my prefered use of the short warhammer, is when im fighting in T6 and i manage to knock down a opponent with half sword pommel strikes, i drop my sword and use the hammer to make them submit.
few good bonks on the head usually makes em give up.
