I don't really understand it. It's heavy enough to whip around to get momentum, but also quite responsive for the size of it. It's also very sharp, so you can do some finesse moves with it even when you don't have a ton of momentum.

If it was a late Middle Ages helmet where it could pivot and hold position you might be able to lift it up but would leave yourself very exposed while doing it. But most visors did have straps which are virtually impossible to get off with gauntlets, even without gauntlets it takes some time which in a battle you don’t have that time

Hits with the lower part of the blade are especially common and brutal in close range, probably my favorite way of taking out armored opponents. It's like the entire mass of the weapon gets shifted onto that part.

They're literally not, you can test this by spawning yourself t1,t2,and t3 weapons with enhancer and testing them back to back.

Commoner/Malitia use t1,

Soldier/Veteran use t2,
Man at Arms and knight use t3.

Not to be difficult this is just something the modders and players have tested and figured out.

Stabbing Advice 🔪

When stabbing with alt (with swords), pull your weapon in closer to your body as opposed to extending your elbow out. It's much more accurate and stable.

Alternatively If it's a two handed weapon it is recommended to hold right click first, then drag your mouse to aim the weapon. Then from there double click and hold left mouse (you can try alt a little as well but clicking is more stable)
This is a much more stable and accurate stabbing pose, and a proper halfsword thrusting stance.

To practice your aiming, there's two different ways you can keep your FOV.
Third Person- with Low FOV, so you get a closer view.
or alternatively;
First Person- with High FOV, so you get a wide view of your weapon and it's positioning.
