i just tested a few hits with the axe, it might be that the start of your swing is too high

if your axe is positioned kinda high when you swing, as it goes closer to the enemy it doesnt really have time for the angle of the head to change

to fix it, position the axe around the same height of the area you want to hit before you swing so then when you swing it goes completely straight without a curve

if the starting position of the axe is above your head then its rlly likely to not hit with the edge

Depends on the weapon you're fighting against. Some weapons like spears, you want to get close so they can't stab you. Other weapons you want to keep your distance and only attack when the open themselves up

Because i would use a wooden stick to block an axe attack and it passes through, and i try to land a chest strike with a sword but it only scratches and doesn't faze the opponent

The only thing i've learned is position my camera movement slightly to stab but only for a corpse, and most of the time i'd just be lookking higher than usual to get my character to stab

Yes the camera naturally angles down a bit and that can make sabs a bit difficult.

When stabbing you have to understand that theres no directly 'aiming' it, you have to use your feet to position the sword where it needs to be, then when the sword lines up with the enemy you send it. Like a reaction time thing.

But it sounds like youre flailing just trying to get kills, its actually better to slow down and watch, and wait. You want to win with 1 strike, not 18.
