The physics-based combat was such a genius idea, not only because of its skill ceiling but because of how unpredictable encounters can get

Even the same kill that you've done several times, the encounter was different in some way or form

Maybe he hit you first this time but you were faster than him so you ended up killing him first, maybe he bumped into one of the railings allowing for a super easy finish, maybe even the dumbass just ran at you while you stood still and he killed himself by your blade anyway

And especially the fights where I could barely move, those tend to be some of the most exciting. Where I'm still standing but you can tell that you're very weak. You and your enemy are just completely bloodied up and barely hanging onto a string of life, only for you to get lucky with that one slash that entered right into your enemy's torso

but now you have 8 tiers

its the same menu its just that the tiers arent gray and factions are now replaced with a "gauntlet mode" button
