Hey I've just joined the server to put in a bug report but it's not sending in the bug reports forum for some reason so if somebody could put it in on my behalf that would be appreciated:
Higher Level Gear in Beggar Fights in Free Mode
To reproduce, switch to free mode and select a higher level character. Then leave the game, rejoin and switch to free mode. You should get the same character again but without clicking any buttons. If you now press play, you will be able to engage in fist play, spoilage and carnage against beggar opponents.
I am using linux mint with proton to run the game although I find it unlikely that is the cause of the problem. My guess given my programming history would be that the character and level is saved between games but because you don't press any buttons your difficulty is desynced because difficulty is set by pressing a button.
