Yeah, altho regular knives that are thick and could resist stabbing mail or plate dont have blade profiles that are very good for stabbing, a rondel might be tecnically worse than a very thin edged point, but it still has a slim profile, so it still good at piercing

Getting up seems okay, but if you're being attacked during it, it will become much more difficult.
As for balance, you can't only use WASD, you also have to use camera (lean) and take into account your weapons to counterbalance

Knowing how to take a hit to remain standing also matters (same methods as before)

I don't fully agree, while I do feel it's gotten better in some respects in others it has become more frustrating, and as I said before, feels less natural and intuitive for the player. I mean, if there's an issue where you need to twist the knob around while shifting or else it goes back to neutral, complaining about it probably would make it easier to drive, but okay. I just mean that, for example, with the hoe, it feels like my Willie isn't swinging it knob first, and instead seems insistant on rubbing his shaft all over the other Willie's face. It just doesn't feel like how someone would naturally swing a hoe. Polearms seem to work fine though, so I'm not sure what the issue is but I want the developers to know so that they can adress the issue and make the game more enjoyable over all. I just don't really understand the comparison you're trying to make here.
