If you dont ahve a shield or a polearm to counter, left-right wiggles while sprinting will sometimes bait the AI to take a swing or thrust, move in and grapple to keep them from regaining range and kick or slash/beat them down

Blunt weapons are kind of hit or miss (no pun intended). You really just gotta snap it right across their nose or forehead for maximum effect

i think the devs didnt really bother making the npcs spare you when you surrender, since it isnt that neccessary. however i do sometimes feel like when i surrender up to 75% they stop attacking and back off, so maybe im wrong.

The same could be said for swords it changes the dynamic of the cut and can give you that extra inch.

Just a shame that it's bound to x. It can be super annoying to get to in a fight.

Basically it boils down to the true edge being the one closest to the hand and the false edge being the opposite. Because of geometry reasons the false edge has a further reach then the true edge.

The false edge is weaker though.
