My advice is pick up the pointy stick with the spikes as soon as you kill the first one, and use that for the rest of the challenge. It gets through armored enemies super easily and the challenge becomes a breeze. Just do downward strikes on most of the enemies and you'll be fine, including the Baron.

I see. Generally, I tend to have more fun with the longer polearms and such, becasue honestly I hate swords in their current state. If I were to recommend a really fun weapon, maybe try the billhook at tier 4 if you haven't already, it's so fucking stupid I love it 👍

So, and I mean this seriously, just drag your mouse completely vertically down from your origin point. Don't deviate your path, check Willies elbows and the angle he's holding the sword they can help you figure out what movement's would make sense.

You actually may find it better to use your whole arm to move your mouse. It can lead to a more intuitive feel of things. I also recommend a pretty low sensitivity. I play with the slider right about under the end of the M in mouse sensitivity and that works pretty well for me.

this, try using your shoulder to move your mouse straight down while minimizing wrist movement, any deviations (especially at high sensitivities) makes your swing go wide

positioning also matters, some weapons like polearms can't always swing straight down easily i've found, so sometimes you're better off just moving around to adjust your aim

I just found that if u hold ur weapon overhead and then switch to stab mode u can get really good overhead attacks

It is a matter of the new update being not acclimated

But also i learnt the old system pretty fast

They swing different. That does not make them inhrently bad. Just means you have to get used to them.

Only one I'm not really a fan of is the new veteran tier halberd

Diagonal swings and left to right swings pre update worked so well and made polearms the rightful king of the weapons

Now i struggle to land even one on the head

Hoe is weird but consistent enough to learn. Polehammers/axes seem fine, they seem to have been slightly adjusted since the new demo dropped so this is slighly outdated.
I think they're just a tad stiff. A little bit more freedom would put them in a good spot again.

Yea the stiffness is the horrible part, i think if they loosened the spread on the shoulders a bit it would work fine again

The AI’s aim is too accurate

They can swing and hit the head over and over but our Willy loses height with each swing needing a stance reset

dx11 runs the game on Direct3d version 11 and dx12 runs the game on Direct3d version 12. This game doesnt work well on dx12 atm

Yeah on the right side when you load the game up should be an option for free mode or gauntlet. Free has the first 7 (?) tiers unlocked and you get the others by finishing gauntlet
