im curious about the direction of the project

yeah im not sure theres much story you could make from a gladiator styled game.

they could easily add maps. would take a bit but they could. the most of a story i could see is kinda like "i did this and conquered, on my way to find my brother and encountered the guards at the place harboring him" and move it to "i got into the castle and fought again" and after youd have a buddy for the rest of the "story"
