The slo-mo mod has been a lot of fun to fuck around with, though I think it's also been a good tool in training the movements for good swings into my head. Kinda like a fighting game that lets you slow down the game in combo trials.

Been finding that specific swings and even whole-ass weapons have been easier after trying them at 50%, 75%, 90% and then going for them in real-time.

The full game isn't actually out yet. What you're possibly seeing in the Discord, that's different from the Demo version you're playing on Steam, is the Halfsword Playtest. You can request access to the Playtest from the Steam page:

well to be fair when you're running around in 60 pound full plate steel armor you WILL fall down like a bag of bricks when you lose balance its supposed to be drawn out your supposed to try if daggers were a little more "effective" the fights wouldn't be too long but that chainmail/gambeson is going to do its work and its known full plated knights could take around 20 stab wounds and keep going its the reason i try to start wrestling them with a dagger when i know it could be going on too long..
