Check your settings in game and look in graphics, there's a setting that says either dx11 or Dx12

dx11 is what you wanna be on

DX12 is notorious for crashing on halfsword

You can run high graphics on dx11 (just not cinematic graphics, those are meant for photography in Unreal Engine and is likely being phased out)

Idk exactly how to do it though. I think some of the moderators knows how so just wait for them to come around and ask. Again, if you’re not confusing it for the playtest or the itch version

im usually super overzealous with blocking so i never noticed it lol

the guy uses his hip a bit more if you press shift

sometimes you'll want to block hard, but a lot of the time you can just hold the weapon in front and slightly up and it blocks a lot of strikes, and you only have to move slightly from that position to block left and right strikes

usually in martial arts your hips should be loose the game but the demo guy is really stiff on his hips

once you get a feel for how the player moves you can start to really loosen up and get some flow happening

you need to use the natural momentum and weight of the player physics

You can get some pretty good movement happening with feints and stuff using shift at the right times
