You just walk into the darkness, and enemies and items will spawn. The further you go the better the items get for the enemies and you.

Every few minutes there is a boss fight you must complete before you can keep going, that separates the gear improvements.

Not to mention, in its current state with current mechanics, the fights would devolve into fruit ninja side quest.

I’m all for it, if it’s done right. But some pretty impressive tech would need to come out or be developed.

latency would definitely be a nightmare in correspondence with the physics, but the duel layout if done right would be very interesting to see in pvp. with players developing different strategies and this game possibly being a competitive league. so youre right, a rough thing to make happen, but i think it would be far more worth it to try

Right now, the current MP angle is local co-op, with the potential of streaming remotely. Online network play remains to be seen. Split screen has been made to work though.

It's more of an issue than you think. Multiplayer for these kinds of games is finnicky at best, and impossible at worst.

The big problem with physics based network games is that game physics is non-deterministic which means you can't accurately predict what location and rotation some physics object will be in the future due to variations in frame rate. Multiplayer games need to replicate the location, rotation, velocity and other physics properties to each player for each frame which can require a lot of bandwidth. The more physics objects you have the more bandwidth is required. Also, the time between when the server sends something and when the client receives it means that the physics data is already out of date so you wind up with physics objects that look fine on the server having jitter and collision issues on the client.

its not a physics based problem, i enjoy physic based games, this one is just unplayable buggy for the play test, the demo its self is a lot more fun

Yeah you need to give momentum to the weapon before swinging , and not do large movement

not spawning in with weapons, randomly losing matches and more

mainly those two, i have ran into one other thing but it happened once might have been a me thing, i just randomly died but i have my hud off so i could have just been bleeding out and not realized

I think alot of bugs happen from changing tabs so avoid that

Try DX 11 if you it's not already on . And change to fullscreen or bordeless . I had this issue Yesterday. But for the majority of my 15h in game i didn't had any problems
