basically body density allows you to slice/stab through bodies easier (and it effects you too), if you lower the slider, it'll be easier to stab through enemies and whatnot.

bone snapping works the same way but with bone breakage

I personally like to lower both player and NPC damage by about an inch to allow duals to last a tad longer

It’s fairly easy to counter it. Especially with any sort of shield. With the buckler, in the direction of the weapon, I like to raise both my buckler and shield. First blocking it off to the side, or simply obstructing him from swinging into my legs or torso. Getting past his weapon and just chopping him from the direction he is unguarded.
