I see there's no threads for GTA III, so here we go:
GTA III works to a degree on the latest dxvk-remix version, though skybox isn't rendered. Not sure how to fix that. Oftentimes color will spaz out and go rainbow lighting as well, also not sure how to fix.
I'll be replacing some of the UI textures with higher res variants, and then moving onto vehicles later - I want to get vehicle glass to render correctly since it doesn't ATM
GTA III also picks up some lights, incl. police car lights which are correctly colored, if a little bright. Here's an example of the vehicle glass rendering issue.

Unless you mean UI textures literally can't be replaced - in that case I can just mod the game directly for that

You're correct, it doesn't capture, but I can mod the game to force UI textures to appear in world space if I really wanted to
In any case it'd probably be better to just texswap the original files

I think you just downloaded the mod wrong because it's not just dragging the files into the folder, you have to use the img tool to put the files inside the gt3.img

You have to find the sky texture, click on it, then click sky texture
or depending on the version you're using, you can possibly click the sky itself and do it that way
if the game has a sky, if not then you're probably not gonna be able to do it

It's because you didn't install the mod properly, the mod fixes the problem and adds sky to the game

for some reason rtx remix does not recognize the original sky in the game so you have to add one yourself

technically you can simply go to "Light Translation" in the rtx menu and mark "Directional" in the "Ignore game lights" category. This will solve the problem quite easily but the lighting in the game will become more "boring"
but maybe if you experiment a bit with the fallback light settings you can reach a better solution

Oh, this is how it should look when you activate this option, the lighting is very "boring" but solves the problem of the lights going crazy when someone shoots or there is a police siren near you
This is the quick solution I found for the problem, but maybe if you "play" with the settings more deeply you will reach a better solution
