sometimes when you have too many chats open, it pushes old characters you haven't used in a while into the void. to get them back, just hide a few of your chats with characters, or manually find their profile and message them through there and it should be pushed back up to the top

Sometimes I really wanna boink myself. I delete or rewind messages and 9-10 times I do copy the messages I want so I can re-use, but sometimes I don't. Maybe they should put in a feature that all deleted messages in a trash back and that you have 30 days to either recover messages or be able to still copy them. But I don't know, I am not an app developer.

There is nothing to indicate they intend on doing this. In fact, adding charms is the opposite - they give ways to get plus perks for free. Is it to encourage buying plus? Sure. But C.AI is one of theeeee most generous apps for free users.
