You can download your chats and import them pretty easily with caitools. You won’t have to rewrite anything. You can also export your data in the app, but that could take months before they send you the file.

So you go to the character you want to import the chats into, then under History there’s a button called Import Chat. You select the file of the chats you downloaded. Sadly you’ll have to import each chat manually by clicking on it in the file, but that’s about it.
